Yellowing Leaves
Could be due to overwatering, underwatering, nutrient deficiency, or natural aging of lower leaves. It's crucial to check the soil moisture first.
Brown/Crispy Leaf Tips/Edges
This is a classic sign of low humidity. It can also be caused by underwatering or a buildup of salts from fertilizer. Try increasing humidity.
Drooping Leaves
Usually indicates thirst (underwatering). However, it can also be a sign of overwatering, as waterlogged roots can't supply the leaves with water. Check the soil before acting.
Lack of New Growth
Often caused by insufficient light. During fall and winter, growth naturally slows (dormancy). If it's the growing season, consider if it's root-bound or needs fertilizer.
Split Leaves
This is a natural and expected characteristic of the plant, an adaptation to allow wind to pass through without tearing the whole leaf. It's not usually a sign of a problem unless accompanied by other symptoms.
